Hey everyone.... first post :)
Currently it is 12-2 Yankees in the bottom of the 6th inning. Chien-Ming Wang looks strong as usual tonight and is perfectly in line to not only win his team leading 19th game for the second year in a row, but the game that clinches the wild card for the Yankees. It probably won't be good enough to win the Cy Young award with Josh Beckett already having won 20 games and beaing Wang and the Yankees last time out, however considering he missed the first month of the season I have to think 19 wins is quite the feat.
Now as Yankees fans at the begining of the year, no one would have settled for the wild card, but considering all of the injuries at the begining of the year and the huge start the Red Sox had, the wild card is just fine with all Yankee fans at this point. Just goes to show, NEVER count out the Yankees!!
